Speaking on the occasion, Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer of Hero MotoCorp's Emerging Mobility Business Unit, described Nepal as a key market in the company's international electric mobility strategy.

Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director of Chaudhary Group, said the arrival of Vida comes at a time when Nepal is witnessing increasing adoption of sustainable transportation.

He noted that the new range of electric scooters and the youth-focused Dirt.E K3 will broaden the country's electric two-wheeler choices while supporting the transition towards greener mobility.

With the arrival of the VX2 range, Vida enters one of Nepal's fastest-growing electric scooter segments. The VX2 Go and VX2 Plus will compete directly with established rivals such as the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak Electric, and Ather Rizta, all of which have gained traction among urban commuters in recent years.
